Sewing Lab: Independent Projects

Intermediate to advanced sewing classes for adults. This series of 7 classes offers a supportive, hands-on space to help you master pre-made sewing patterns, mending projects, and project construction. This course will provide personalized guidance through every stage of your own personal projects including pattern selection, fabric choice, cutting, fitting, and finishing. Students will work from pre-existing sewing patterns, rather than creating brand new patterns from scratch.
Amaris Blagborne is an accomplished seamstress and costume designer who has worked and taught all over the Bay Area. She lives in West Marin.
**Completion of the First Stitches introduction course or specific permission from the instructor is required for registration. Please do not sign up if you have not completed our intro course or spoken with the instructor.**
Pre-registration is required; no drop-ins. Registration is for the full class series, and classes are not prorated. If you would like a paper registration form, please contact our office to request one. Please note: Your space is not guaranteed until registration is completed and tuition is fully paid.
