
Once students get basic sewing machine training, classes could go in many directions, such as fashion design, interiors (window treatments, slip covers, etc), and quilting. Or participants can work on their own projects during open studios. It will be fun and social, or perhaps sewcial?
SEWING BOOTCAMP
A 6 hour class that includes completion of a sewing project. Learn the basics of sewing machine operation such as how to thread a machine, adjust tension, change needles and bobbins, and basic stitches. Open to ages 15 and above. Instructor Pia Andersson is an experienced sewing teacher and runs the Marin Sewing Lab. Bring your own scissors and lunch.
SEWING 101
