About Patrick Landeza

Patrick Kahakauwila Kamaholelani Landeza was born and raised in Berkeley, California, to Hawaii-born parents. Surrounded by music his entire life, he learned guitar as a teenager by observing his Uncles at backyard family gatherings. Later, he went on to study with Slack Key royalty, including Raymond Kane, Cyril Pahinui, George Kuo, and Dennis Kamakahi. A veteran musician, composer, and producer, Landeza earned a Nā Hōkū Hanohano award (the first musician from the mainland) for his 2013 “Slack Key Huaka’i,” which won for Best Slack Key Album of the Year. In 2019, Landeza won the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Ki Ho’alu Foundation Legacy Award, an honor that represents Hawaiian Slack Key music’s lifetime achievement. He joins his mentors Dennis Kamakahi and the late Cyril Pahinui, in receiving this award. This past October 2021, Landeza made Hawaiian music history when he received his second Nā Hōkū Hanohano award (considerd the Hawaiian Grammy) for Best Slack Key Album of the Year. The album “Far Away” is a tribute to his mentor, the late Dennis Kamakhi and mother Frances Kawaipulou Kuakini of Ho`olehua, Moloka`i.

Landeza is in his 27th year in education and currently teaches at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, CA.

Sound Healing Meditation – Reiki Vocal with Nuria Pucci

Nuria Pucci is a singer, therapist, bio-decoder, and the creator of the Reiki Vocal® technique. Reiki Vocal is a healing process. It invites you to integrate all parts of yourself through energy and voice. This event is for anyone with the desire to deconstruct themself, soften, open their heart and question themself, for those who want to connect and heal their relationship with their own voice and let themself sing, for singers who wish to amplify and deepen the possibilities of their voice, for those who wish to connect with subtle planes, vibration, chakras, and channeling.

This event will feature a guided meditation and sound healing concert by Nuria Pucci. There will be space to ask questions and share experiences.

An Evening with George Winston – LIVESTREAM – Fundraiser for the Dance Palace

October 30, 2020 by Chris Grace

November 8, 2020 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

An evening with celebrated solo pianist George Winston ONLINE on Sunday, November 8th, at 4 PM PST in support of The Dance Palace, a non-profit community center in Point Reyes, CA. The concert will only be able to view live during the stream and will not be recorded.

RSVP for the livestream at https://youtu.be/V2B_QVLUSF0

George Winston is undeniably a household name. He’s inspired fans and musicians alike with his singular solo acoustic piano songs for more than 40 years while selling 15 million albums. A tireless road warrior playing nearly 100 concerts annually, live performance for Winston is akin to breathing. Winston’s music is evocative, offering us all a chance to take a step back from our perpetually busy lives and let our minds adventurously wander.

George Winston’s classic albums, Autumn and December, are perennial favorites, along with Winter into Spring, Summer, 2017’s Spring Carousel – A Cancer Research Benefit, as well as two volumes of the compositions of Vince Guaraldi, two volumes of benefit albums for the Gulf Coast disasters, and six other solo piano albums. He recently released his 15th solo piano album, Restless Wind, via Dancing Cat Records/RCA Records. Restless Wind is a portrayal of Winston’s place in a chaotic world – his compositions extend solace with an idiosyncratic grace. The album is available now at GeorgeWinston.com

Tune in LIVE via YouTube on Sunday, November 8, starting at 4:00pm PST – You can watch this concert live; it will not be recorded or re-aired.

RSVP for the livestream at https://youtu.be/V2B_QVLUSF0 and then tune in on November 8 to see this fundraiser concert.  This concert will air live only–you don’t want to miss it!
