Baby Gym – IN PERSON

A FREE developmental playgroup for children 0-3 years of age and their parents, caregivers and families.

Come together to play, learn and prepare your child for success in school and life with intentional, developmentally-appropriate learning experiences. Through these experiences, your child will be using language to communicate with peers and family members, build connections, friendships and you will grow a circle of mutual support among others with young children.

Enjoy:

  • Circle time (stories, music, movement)
  • Activities (fine motor skill development, colors, shapes, etc..)
  • Floor activities (gross motor skill development, )

When:

  • Tuesdays: In-person 10-11:30am (indoors or outdoors, weather permitting)
  • Thursdays: Virtually from 10:00-10:45am

First playgroup starting Tuesday, September 21, 2021

Where:

  • Tuesdays-at The Dance Palace @ 503 B St, Point Reyes Station

(outside when weather permits)

  • Thursdays-LIVE ZOOM

(once registered, will receive invitation)

Join us for Holiday Cheer & Chatter!

Shelter in Place prevents us from gathering in person this year, but we can still meet up and celebrate the holidays with our community.  Sure, it’s via Zoom, but we still want to see your faces, hear from you, and celebrate the season!

The Dance Palace is hosting our first “Holiday Cheer & Chatter” on Thursday, December 17, at 5:00pm.  You’ll see some familiar faces (Barbara Jay has already put this event on her calendar & will be our hostess with the mostess!) to be sure! Come, share some quarantine stories, and catch up with friends old and new.

CANCELLED – Albany Jazz Band

THE ALBANY JAZZ BIG BAND under the guidance of Musical Director and Conductor, Bob Levenson, presents a clear, swinging, and modern big band sound. This year’s performance at the Dance Palace will be the seventh annual dance concert. The band plays regularly at other community events—all around the East Bay. The musicians mostly hail from the Berkeley-Albany-El Cerrito corridor. Repertoire consists of classic big band swing by the great bandleaders and arrangers; blues, bossa nova and Latin, bebop and post bebop music of the 60’s and later. The band plays great dance-able music, and features fine local jazz vocalists and instrumental soloists.
