WDC(Women’s Dance Collaborative) is a dance group for women who love to dance and explore movement individually and collaboratively. All ages welcome.  Meets Wednesdays 5:00pm-6:30pm at the Dance Palace Church.  (5:30pm-7:00pm on the following dates: June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, and September 14.)

Cost is $25/mo or $8-10drop in (no one turned away for lack of funds). Vaccination required; contact tracing sheet sign-in at each meeting.

Come dance with us to an eclectic mix of music; member curated.

Prartho Sereno – January Dance Palace Lobby Artist

Prartho Sereno, watercolorist/ poet, Poet Laureate of Marin County (2015-17), is author of 4 prizewinning poetry collections, including her illustrated gift book Causing a Stir: The Secret Lives & Loves of Kitchen Utensils (2007 IPPY). Her watercolors have been featured on various book & CD covers, including anthologies, journals, and her own creations.

This current show grew out of an Inspirational Pandemic Round Robin, where artists invited friends to post one painting each day for 21 days. Prartho’s response to the challenge was to pair one of her poems with each of the 21 paintings she posted. The result was something like a new art form: an intimate conversation between colors and words, each form deepening the other. 

You can join Prartho for an online reception on Thursday, January 13, at 5:00pm.  Registration is required, but free; register now via Eventbrite.  (Space is limited and will close 30 minutes before the reception starts.)

A FREE developmental playgroup for children 0-3 years of age and their parents, caregivers and families.

Come together to play, learn and prepare your child for success in school and life with intentional, developmentally-appropriate learning experiences. Through these experiences, your child will be using language to communicate with peers and family members, build connections, friendships and you will grow a circle of mutual support among others with young children.

Enjoy:

  • Circle time (stories, music, movement)
  • Activities (fine motor skill development, colors, shapes, etc..)
  • Floor activities (gross motor skill development, )

When:

  • Tuesdays, every other week: In-person 10-11:30am (outdoors, weather permitting, or inside)
  • Thursdays: Virtually from 10:00-11:00am

Where:

  • Every other Tuesday at The Dance Palace @ 503 B St, Point Reyes Station

(outside when weather permits)

  • Thursdays-LIVE ZOOM

(once registered, will receive invitation)
