Local singers journey into the extreme sport of vocal improv – a display of voices, courage, truth, creativity and spirit.
Sound Orchard’s singers have ventured into the extreme sport of vocal improvisation this winter and will gather at the Dance Palace on Saturday 2.22 to share their voices, courage, truth, creativity and spirits. Led by Briony Greenhill, who teaches and performs vocal improvisation internationally. Briony will also perform, as will some of her advanced students.
No one can predict what will happen but it may be reasonable to expect sensations of delight, outbursts of laughter, to have your heart burst open with golden sparkles, and to have moments when you need to be patient and kind. Oh, and it’s highly likely you’ll be asked to sing in a large group of people making harmonious, freeing and gorgeous music.
Doors open at 7:00, show begins at 7:30.
Location: Main Hall
