Susan’s art as a response to life and personal soul searching allows her to speak from the spirit of who she is and provides a needed opportunity to intermingle playfulness and thoughtfulness. She thoroughly enjoys doing art with others because it deepens friendships and enhances communications beyond the norm – by sharing an art process and every day aspects of life.
Susan makes art with acrylic paint, collage and pastel on paper and canvas. She starts with an instantaneous expression of what is happening “in the moment” – often extending into the political, conveying environmental and world concerns, investigating her personal life, and always being aware of surprises that emerge and sometimes a complete lack of knowing what she has produced.
Join Susan as she shares about her experience of creative discovery during her virtual art reception. This online event, organized by the Dance Palace Art Committee, will feature a conversation with the artist discussing several pieces, followed by a Q&A session. Friday, July 16, 5:00pm-6:00pm. Registration is required; click here to register via Eventbrite.
