Pilates with Lorraine Fisher-Smith

West Marin personal trainer, yoga and Pilates instructor Lorraine Fisher-Smith guides a morning Pilates class.

Pilates builds a strong core to promote good posture and prevent injury, and this class brings a focus on that strength for its practical application to our daily lives. Along with core, students learn how to isolate lesser-known muscles in exercises for a more well-rounded and balanced strength. Movements are deliberate and intentional, the pace is moderate.

Lorraine enjoys sharing her knowledge of anatomy and understanding of common injuries throughout her teaching. All classes are safe for osteoporosis.

$130 for an inconsecutive 10 class card or $15 to drop in; the first class is free.

*Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-10 on Zoom. The first Tuesday of the month in person at 8:00 a.m. at the Dance Palace and live on Zoom. Please contact Lorraine before attending the class for the first time.
