IPUD Measure O Forum* – Hosted by The Inverness Association

September 19 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm PDT

The Inverness Association will host a Forum on the Inverness IPUD Service Area Parcel Tax Measure O at the Dance Palace on September 19th at 7 pm, and it will also be available to stream via ZOOM.  

The purpose is to provide a panel to answer questions from the virtual and live audience to help inform  voters’ decisions on the proposed Parcel Tax to improve fire protection services  for the Inverness Public Utility District service area.

The Forum will be moderated and questions will be submitted in writing at the gathering and in the chat room of the Zoom stream.  The IA  has invited Ken Emanuels, Board Chair of IPUD; the chief planner from the Marin Wildfire Protection Agency; and two members of the IA Board, Tom Gaman (professional forester and opponent of the measure) and the sponsor and author of the measure Jerry Meral.

Masks will be required in the Dance Palace facility. Contact tracing sheets will be utilized at sign-in.

The program will begin at 7pm and end at 8:30.  Questions will be handled via 3×5 cards submitted to monitors in the live program, and for the virtual webinar on Zoom, questions will be posted in chat and monitored.
