Hip Hop with Kyle
NEW CLASS STARTING OCTOBER 7!
Welcome to Hip Hop! In this class, Kyle will be teaching the foundation, technique, and approach to Hip Hop dance. Students will learn how to use Hip Hop as both a freestyle and choreographed dance form, while having fun and gaining confidence at the same time. Come learn some moves and grooves, and get down on the dance floor!
For ages 8 and up.
Wednesdays, 3:30pm – classes will run 45 minutes (will be adjusted for age groups)
Session 1: October 7, 14 & 21 … $20 for 3 classes (first class is free)
Session 2: October 28; November 4 & 18 (no class November 11 or 25); December 2 … $40 for 4 classes
An online show will air in December – details to come.
Scholarships are available.

Enrolled students and/or parent-guardians will receive a weekly Zoom link for class.
All registration and payments will happen via email. As we are working remotely, no phone calls please.
About the Instructor: Kyle “Yurok” Mitchell has been dancing Hip Hop for 9 years. He has been all over the Bay Area dancing for crews such as The UNIT, Academy of Villains, and 1up Fam. Kyle also was a director, choreographer, and founder of Auxiliary and Fallout, two choreography-based dance teams that have placed in three major competitions. Auxiliary Dance Team has also traveled to South Korea to share knowledge and experiences in dance with the mayor of JeJu Island. Kyle is also an avid competitor in the freestyle community pushing both him and his crew through the competetive ranks with hard work and positivity. Kyle continues to push his abilities and pursue his goals in dance through both freestyle and choreography, and uses his experiences to teach and connect with his students.
