This 7th annual wool symposium focuses on “soil-to-skin” themes such as fire ecology, fostering animal integration, fiber systems and functional use of garments. Tickets for the symposium are $20-40. The Symposium will also host a market offering place-based goods and raw materials for textile creation. There will also be demonstrations on sheep shearing, wool grading, heritage sheep, angora rabbits, felting, flax production, natural dyeing, spinning, weaving, mending and primitive skills.
