Fashion Upcycling Workshop

Throughout history people recreated clothes to be worn over and over. Today, disposable thinking has created a shameful amount of waste in the fashion world. Join Emmy award-winning costume designer Giovanna Ottobre-Melton for a 3-hour workshop on fashion upcycling. Giovanna applies a wealth of knowledge from historic fashion choices to regenerate textiles into exciting new styles.
Both hand and machine sewing projects will be offered. Sewing machine projects require basic sewing machine operation skills.
Pre-registration is required. A suggested list of materials to bring will be provided after registration.
