Second Sundays Movement Practices are movement workshops focused on building awareness of the body and it's different faculties; the senses, proprioception, attention to room dynamics and internal states. They are designed to educate the body on all levels; deepen our physical language, create maps of our interior world, clear mind interference, and transcend old patterns. Each workshop is led by a different teacher and subject matter may vary. Open to all levels of experience.LEARN MORE
A four week class series for knitters and artisans to improve comfort in your body, learn to distribute the effort of work throughout more of yourself, and increase the stamina to do the things you enjoy doing. The teacher, Magot Schaal, is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who offers classes and individual hands-on sessions in Marin and Sonoma.
The April and May sessions will offer different lessons, and will reinforce and augment your movement vocabulary and ease. Lessons will be done sitting, standing, walking and lying on the floor. Bring a blanket to sit and lie comfortably on the floor.
