Ceramics, toys, ornaments, clothing, jewelry, and more will be on sale at this annual holiday fair—with delicious refreshments on sale prepared by Indian Peach Food Company.

COLEMAN BARKS: THE POEMS OF RUMI
Point Reyes Books is excited to present Coleman Barks reading his inspired translations of the ecstatic poems of Jelaluddin Rumi, a 13th century Sufi mystic whose poetry is filled with humor, wisdom, and spiritual depth. Coleman Barks is a primary conduit for bringing Rumi’s mystical consciousness into English. He has translated and published more than 15 collections of Rumi’s poems.

MALT HOLIDAY PARTY HONORING RALPH GROSSI
Ralph Grossi, a founding board member of MALT, has come home to West Marin after 23 years in Washington D.C. as the president of the American Farmland Trust. We will welcome him home, hear about the state of farmland and farm policy nationwide, and view The Hidden Bounty of Marin, a video that highlights the rich landscape and daily life on Marin farms and ranches. For over 30 years the Point Reyes Christmas Bird Count has been a definitive census of the status, trends, and distribution of the 200 plus species wintering in the Point Reyes area. At this compilation dinner
participants tally the species seen and generally enjoy the birding highlight of the season.

The former co-host of MSNBC’s Buchanan and Press, CNN’s Crossfire, and The Spin Room, Press has built a national reputation on thought-provoking and humorous insights from the left side of the political aisles.
A part-time resident of Inverness, he is the author of four books including Trainwreck: The End of the Conservative Revolution (and Not a Moment Too Soon). Co-sponsored by Point Reyes Books.
